Jonathan Hodder is our new Executive Chef at RiverBend Lodge.
Jonathan was born and raised in Dorset, England and began his career as a Chef aged 16. Jonathan moved to South Africa with his South African born wife Vicki in December 2010 and joined RiverBend Lodge a year later. Among the postions Jonathan has held are:
Sous Chef at Alan Murchisonn's restuarant Paris House, Head Chef at The Queen's Square, and before that stints at Labercasse, L'Ortolan and The Fat Duck.
Jonathan's style of food is a modern interpretation of traditional and familiar flavours and dishes - incorporating nuances of African flavours when appropriate.
