Goodmorning from a sunny Riverbend Lodge..

This last two weeks has been absolutely incredible with sightings of buffalo!! Not one, not two but up to three different herds of buffalo on one drive..must be the fact that summer is back in the air. The herds are looking in excellent condition and there are just buffalo calves everywhere. I also had the pleasure of spending a full 20 minutes with a very relaxed black rhino about a week ago. Just as the sun was going down, the sky looking like it had been splashed with shades of pinks and blues, my guests and I came across this incredible sighting!! We managed to get excellent photos from all different angles, even with the sunset behind the rhino revealing only animals sillouette!!
