good morning all..

early this morning, at about half past five, just before my guests and i headed out on drive i happened to hear a lion roaring in the distance. this got my hopes up extremely high, as my guests and i had discussed the possibility of seeing lions today!! after waking my guests up with a cup of hot coffee just half an hour later, we ventured out in search of the lion we heard just a bit earlier. about half an hour into the drive we struck luck with a nail and a hammer!! a huge male lion lying out in the open, roaring away at the morning sunrise!  After my guests got some fantastic photos of this majestic lion, he decided to move off into the thicket for some shade. it did not end there... we actually proceeded to spend some more time with a slightly younger male lion walking right down the middle of the road. this was fantastic, he even paused for a moment to inspect the vehicle before he pushed off into the now lovely warm morning. it was an amazing experience!!
