African Theme Evenings

One of Adriaan's new initiatives is his breathtaking African-themed evenings.  Once a week, guests are treated to a true African barbeque under the stars with excellent local entertainment and superb cuisine. The evening starts after an eventful afternoon game drive.  Guests gather at the viewing point overlooking the elephant waterhole in front of the lodge and start off with a glass of African home-brewed beer. Around the enclosed boma, tables are set with lots of candles and lanterns around a big bonfire under the stars.  Entertainment starts with the staff washing your hands and ends with the marvellous 'Zebras' choir, singing the Xhosa version of "The Lion sleeps tonight".  Dishes are true South African and guests will be sure to go to bed with a piece of Africa warming their hearts.  Come join us for one of these special evenings!
